How It All Began

When our daughter Stella was born, we started a family tradition of sharing Christmas joy with children and families facing difficult circumstances. What began as the Romano Family Toy Drive grew as friends, neighbors, volunteers, and businesses joined us year after year.

Meet Benjamin

In 2023, our son Benjamin Jett Romano was born with Down syndrome and several serious medical complications. His life lasted just three days, but his impact on our family will last forever.

Before his birth, our family connected with GiGi's Playhouse and discovered a wonderful community supporting people with Down syndrome and their families. After Benjamin passed away, we knew we wanted his memory to continue bringing love and hope to others.

A Legacy of Giving

We renamed our annual toy drive Benjamin's Blessings in his honor. Each Christmas, our family and a growing community of volunteers shop for, collect, and deliver gifts to organizations serving children and families in the Houston area.

In 2026, we celebrate our 10th annual toy drive with a $20,000 fundraising goal. Beyond the number, our hope is simple: that every child feels remembered and every family knows someone cares.
